Lee Mathews Newport Store Update

The Lee Mathews store in Newport was ready to expand and having executed the original store fit out, Timber Artistry was once again engaged to see out the work. Plans involved extending the store over two shop spaces, so work began with removal of three structural brick walls and installation of new steel beams and supports. In addition to the extension a complete makeover was carried out.

To create a clean white canvas all walls and openings were plaster boarded then painted white. The floorboards were also sanded and painted white. Custom details from Timber Artistry include a cement counter, plywood floating shelves and drawers, white barn door, steel hanging racks anchored to the ceiling, shop window display plinths and merchandising displays. Track lighting throughout the store was also installed to complete the look. Timber Artistry was able to source architectural plants from Dragon Trees Australia to complete the new store fit out.
